Behind the Journey: Meagan's Path and Passion

Meagan Sullivan, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA is a Licensed Behavior Analyst who began working with children as a respite and habilitation provider in 2007 while obtaining her bachelor’s in elementary and special education at Arizona State University. Following her graduation, Meagan worked in the public school system with students with a range of disabilities. As an educator, Meagan had the opportunity to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and saw the positive impact a collaborative approach had on learner outcomes. Motivated to further her education, Meagan pursued a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2018 and began to work under the direction of skilled, licensed behavior analysts in an in-home setting. Since obtaining her credential, Meagan has worked in both in-home and clinic-based settings with individuals aged 18 months to 17 years of age. She is passionate about pursuing continuing education opportunities and actively seeks out collaborative opportunities in order to continue to expand her skill set. Meagan is proficient with the implementation of skills assessments, behavior assessments, the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and corresponding program protocols, monitoring patient data, conveying outcomes to stakeholders, and collaborating and implementing trainings with patients and caregivers. In addition to directly supporting patients and their families, Meagan is passionate about delivering high quality supervision to behavior technicians, registered behavior technicians (RBTs), and individuals pursuing BCBA certification in order to promote improved patient outcomes. She is a member of the Arizona Association of Applied Behavior Analysis (AzABA). Meagan is committed to delivering quality services to patients and their families, providing effective supervision, and engaging in continuing education opportunities in order to support meaningful and lasting behavior change.
